Who wants to buy a snow bound funicular at a Scottish ski resort?
Cheeky, but funny. Love the questions to the seller.
“For sale, one Funicular Mountain Railway System, built in 2001 with considerable public funding. Selling as it doesn’t actually work in winter when it’s been snowing heavily. Or if it’s been windy. We should have done some research which would have anticipated the accumulation of drifts covering the track and blocking the tunnel but there were millions of pounds available from Highlands and Islands Enterprise (think we’re looking at about £50 million, ish) so we were dead keen to just get on with it. We would now like to sell it to the highest bidder and invest the money in a team of Himalayan Yaks which will haul Snowsport Enthusiasts up the Mountain more effectively. Buyer collects.”
